PVRX2 Screensaver and Standby

Should PVRX2 in screenaver mode prevent the PC from entering standby? For me sometimes it does and other times it doesn't and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent my HTPC going into standby while PVRX2 is running?

I'm running the latest release and I've had a look in the logs, but there isn't anything jumping out really:

The app doesnt try to do anything that would stop the machine going into standby.

I thought the opposite might be true. I've recently replace some hardware and feel the machine is working differently, I'm obviously adding 2+2 to get 5 :o
