Now starting to randomly lose my Hauppauge 900H

I havnt used a Nova-T 500, so cant vouch for how reliable it is, but yes you'll be able to record two channels at the same time. I know others use this device successfully.

(I do have one here in a anti-static bag somewhere though, but never got around to trying it)

I hope so! I just bought one. This will be my third DVB-T device. The HVR-3000 didn't fit in the case, the HVR-900H seems flaky so 3rd time lucky I hope :-)
