When PVRX2 starts, or the system comes out of hibernate, the System menu item is always selected. This seems different than in the past when the last used item was selected. I did a look through config.xml for a setting for this, but didn't find anything. I'd like to be able to explicitly set this, or just have the last used item retained for subsequent startup. Anyone have any insight? Did I miss it on config.xml?

Thanks.

If you hibernated from the System screen, then it'll still be on the System screen when it wakes up.

If you were sitting on the main menu with the TV Guide selection highlighted, then press the hibernate button on your PC, it should store to the same state, with the main menu and TV Guide selected.

I normally hibernate from the main menu with Recordings "selected", i.e., largest font. When restarted from hibernation, it always has System selected. This seems different than I recall. It sounds like it is supposed to save the last screen on hibernate or shutdown. Is that correct? BTW, this is with v1.2.13. i'll do some more tests to make sure it is doing what I think it is.

GB-PVR doesnt try to store any state info like this. When hibernating windows takes a dump of the process memory and writes it to disk. When waking it restores this memory, and the process should be in the same state as prior to the hibernation.

I just double checked here, with Recordings selected on the main menu, and after wake up it still had Recordings selected.

I just did the same and it came up with Recordings. I must be hallucinating; I'll pay more attention to where I leave it prior to hibernating and see if I can discover anything. Thanks, and sorry for the bother.
