Hauppauge USB-based WinTV-HVR-1950 Infrared Issues

hey guys! I'm new to GB-PVR and already loving it. i got live tv working great with schedules and im trying to tackle the infrared remote that my Hauppauge 1950 came with. I installed HIP and I added in the Hauppage remote config file and the remote key file. It just doesnt seem to do anything. what am i missing?

have you tried "fix hauppauge remote" button in config?
I'm only guessing as I don't really know this product but if it's the same IR set up as the PCI cards then it's handled natively via hauppauge's IR.exe program (without hip).

wow thank you worked perfect. does anybody have any ideas to help me get my fm radio working now?

FM radio is currently unsupported by PVRX2 (it was functional on the old GBPVR). I think sub has it on the 'to-do' list , but not very high up.
