Hello,

I am trying to use GBPVR on my home computer with pcanywhere. For some reason that particular application will not render itself on the screen. Yahoo widgets seem to do the same thing. ANyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? I am guessing its not a pcanywhere issue since only a few applications dont work correctly.

BY the way, the older versions of GBPVR always worked with pcanywhere.. its not until I upgraded to the PXR2 that it stopped working.

Thanks!

I'm guessing its because pcanywhere is unable to detect the graphics inside apps using Direct3D to draw stuff to the screen. Sorry, only the manufacturer of pcanywhere would be able to resolve this.

Hi,

there is a similar problem with NetOP (from Danware) and java apps. The solution in NetOP is to send the screen as bitmap, not as "command". Maybe teher is an option in pcanywhere... (otherwise try NetOP, it works fine with gbpvr)

Thanks for that, I'll give it a try. I've used netop for a long time for support from home at work and I find it quite a bit faster than the VNC variants - except for looking at my server....

It depends on the video renderer you use and using the video-hook driver (ultravnc).
I think it's like this: If you use the video hook driver you can't use vmr9.
But it's no use for watching video any way, it's far to slow.
If I use the videohook driver I get an empty (transparent) window.
