system freezes frequently

My Application keeps going back to the main menu and crashing this seems completely random and also the 'settings' screen is also completely empty.
can anyone help or even suggest if these two things are related?

Zip and attach the logs next time it happens and I'll take a look.

This is unrelated, and a known problem in this release. If you create an empty 'skin' subdirectory in the gbpvr directory then the Settings screen will start working.

You seem to have some screwy going on with your remote or its receiver. Your log are filled with thousands of messages about a volume change key being pressed. The could possibly be causing your problem. Try setting the remote type in the config app to something other than 'MCE'.
