running the last gbpvr.
Have a dual core processor 2 gb of memory and 2 dual tuner hauppague 2250's.
So I can record 4 channels at the same time.
But I find if I try to watch a recording and all 4 tuners are recording at the same time, the machine will start to lock up, or rather gbpvr shows as not responding and will either studder during play back, or just lock up for a while. It will recover on its own if you give it some time.
CPU usage is still under 10 percent total, and memory usage is pretty low too.
So I figure I must be disk bound. Running a 1.5tb sata drive.
But that really doesn't explain gbpvr locking up, or does it?
C drive is a different hard drive, where it is installed.
Is it possible to point each tuner to a different drive?
or at least each card?
Or am I looking in the wrong place?
