I have a HIP command embedded in the ParallelProcessing.bat file that doesn't seem to run.

If I run the batch file from the command line it works fine, but when it kicks off as part of starting a recording, I get nothing. I know the batch file is running because I added a couple of MD (make Directory) commands in the batch file to give a kind of crude log of progress through the batch file.

Can anyone think of any reason why this might not be working?

I am using the USBUIRT for channel changing and sending the HIP command. I am wondering of the USBUIRT is still 'held' by GBPVR while it is changing the channel and so HIP isn't sending it's command? Is parallelprocessing.bat run after the channel change event has been sent to begin the recording or it is before that?

Any insight would be welcome.

I think HIP uses the clipboard for sharing information between its processes, and the recroding service runs in the different desktop session so the clipboard wont work unless you go into the GBPVR Recording Service settings and enable the 'allow service to interact with desktop' setting.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll give that a try when I get home.
