I have just installed a second PVR500MCE in my media server. When I start LiveTV in GBPVR the recording service crashes with teh following message:

program gbpvrrecordingservice, file dbgdel.cpp line 52
expression: _BLOCK_TYPE_ISVALID(pHead->nBlockUse)

One single adapter (either one) is working fine and I am using the latest drivers from SHSPVR. The problem can only be solved by disableing one of the cards (either one) in the device manager. Just removing them in GBPVR doesn't do the trick.

Could it have something to do with the way GBPVR accesses multiple adapters (numbering)? I have included the log-file of my setup.

I've only got access to one PVR500, so havn't tried two in the same machine, but it should work. You should have created 4 capture sources, using device numbers #1, #2, #3, #4?

tipstir: I followed your suggestion and still get the same error.

sub: Th error occurs even when I don't define the second adapter in GBPVR. The problem occurs as soon as both cards are enabled in the device manager. When I disable one adapter (2 devices, one for each tuner) everything works fine.

How do you address an individual adapter? Do you use a device name or a device number? Can I check these "names" or "numbers" on my system?

Its not so easy for you to check. It address individual capture devices using a combination of name and device number.

Send you logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.
