Sub, Here are the requested Config.exe log files.

SoccerDad, It never writes anything to the Channels window - it's always blank; as if it hasn't found anything yet, and then just crashes.

This patch wont fix anything, but it'll give me a little more information. Please try it then reattach the logs.

Here are the new logs using the new NativeUtilities.dll file. Scanning is still crashing on 88.

To be honest, I've got no ideas on this one. The problem is occurring before scan even starts though. Normally when BDA digital devices are hooked up it'll create five pins called '1' through '5'. Yours has 001 - 029, and things just get worse from there, with important thinks failing to hook up.

Just curious Bobb1300, are you using Vista MCE with TV Pack at all? I'm getting a similar sounding problem - see here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=39013
Dell XPS M1530, Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2 GHz), 3GB Ram, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT, Hauppauge Nova T Stick, Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 and TV Pack.

After Sub's last post on this topic I decided to try some other measures. I reinstalled the M780 drivers and switched my QAM.ini back to frequency oriented channels and reran the scan. This time it finished the scan and displayed some found channels. However, once it finished it would become extremely slow in responses. If I clicked on a found channel it would lock up for over a minute. I've included the logs.

I'm not running Vista, I'm on XP SP3.
