I'm trying too use a hvr4000 (which works fine) and a hvr1700 (which doesn't) for DVB-T.
The problem seems to be that the 'newer' hvr1700 doesn't have a BDA driver. The only program that finds it is Powercinema, and it works fine with this program.
I'm sure GB-PVR only finds the analog tuner...
These cards are being advertised as working with GB-PVR and are common for sale in New Zealand, has anyone got DVB-T working with one?Should find an 81xx

FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV 885 TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport

Thanks all good now.

Problem was actually from plug/aerial being a bit loose on the card! meant the system would hang and only get some channels on scan. Once I changed to a tighter plug/cable everything scanned perfect and both cards work great now.

I guess I was always looking for a 81xx not an 885 card too, still all good so thanks again.
