I just noticed that a show I wanted to record was listed in the conflicts section (part of a Season Record). Clicking on 'Resolve' only gave me the option to 'Make no changes etc.' with no option to cancel whatever it was conflicting with. Going to the TV Guide showed it in orange and when I selected it I got the option to record it (which I chose). Going back to the Conflicts page and using Resolve I then got the option to cancel the new occurence of itself (which I did) and everything is OK now.

I'd previously done an Empty/Update EPG in Config due to the 'To Be Announced' problem with the RT XMLTV guide. Is it possible that there had previously been a real conflict which kinda resolved itself by some other programme having been re-scheduled and the programme remained flagged as a conflict?

Yes, I'm guessing this behaviour was related to an 'empty epg'. Conflicts are flagged as such at the time they are scheduled, and continue to stay in this state until the system tries to resolve the conflict (which it doesnt do until something cancelled).

Thanks, that's all I could think it could be. No biggy - I try to check the conflicts page regularly as I have a number of Season Records which sometimes get moved to different time slots. Just one of those "what happened there?" moments.  [Image: smile.gif]

Cheers,
Brian
