I hope that IR can only find the PVR350, when using a non Hauppauge driver for the PVR150MCE.

That driver would not work with your PVR150MCE.

I have exactly the same problem. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling latest drivers etc. but still get the failed to initialize error. Anyone got any ideas?

Assuming you mean two cards issue, then I used to get the initialize error when I added a 150 to a 350 box.

There's a post, somewhere on this board, or another one of these PVR boards, that effectively tells you what to do. Essentially, kill the software, disable the card you don't want to use the IR on, run the IR and renable the board. Using those instructions, I got my 350 to work as the controller, and not the 150. I never got the slot, or the driver order to help in my case. So now I have a batch file that does the job, that I run when I reboot the box. Be nice if I didn't have to, but it will do for now.

That is the problem in one. I ave tried following all of those steps but still no joy. I will now try starting again and rebuilding the box from scratch.
