I upgraded to a newer comskip and then I have crashes. First it said it was missing some dlls, which were in the klite ffmpeg area. I put those directly into the gbpvr directory. Then it finally crashed again and it said it failed but gave no real reason.

What should I do? I tried moving files it couldn't find directly to the comskip/gbpvr directory but that didn't do it.

I think I'll do that, didn't realize it was that easy.

The missing dll's should not be copied from another directory but ONLY from the comskip distribution zip file!!!!!!

Sorry Erik, I tried it both ways and it still crashes. Klite installed the necessary stuff before, and I believed it to be using those dlls.

First I tried copying them from klite and putting them into the gbpvr directory, and this stopped some of the errors. Then I realized that there was a newer version and one I had missing from the zip, so I put those directly into the gbpvr directory. At this point it completely stopped complaining about missing anything, but still proceeded to crash. I gave up and put the last .79 version back on there and it is fine now. I could try it again and do things differently if you can suggest something.

Wasn't harping on the app, I love it and it works with good accuracy - just had a bump in the road with the newer version.

thanks.
