Playback question

When playing back recordings that were recorded from a HD-PVR I can use the D-pad to jump 30 seconds at a time through a recording (makes skipping commercials possible). When the recording is off my QAM tuners (which are going to be Mpeg2) I can't skip, only the fast forward option works. Any idea why?

It'll be some limitation from Syabas. You'll find the same problem if you play the same file outside of GB-PVR, in the NMT normal playback screens. After checking, try hassling them on the NMT forums. The more feedback they get on playback limitations of TS files, the more likely they are to do something about it in the future.

I think I have the same, or similar issue. If I play a recording and I try to skip, it just stops. Sometimes it looks like the clock (timestamp?) is still moving, but nothing playing back, just a still image. I'm guessing a driver issue maybe? If I play an another format, the skip looks fine. Any way to not use DVR-ms format? thanks.

gunterhausfrau, your problem is probably not on the NMT since it can't play dvr-ms files. You can change to another mux in the config program Misc2 tab.
