When I put a show for recording and after that put the computer in hibernation. Then the computer wakes up and records the show, but after that it does NOT go back to hibernation.

Is that not possible?

Mine does this quite happily.Big Grin

I presume that you've 'manually' put the PC into hibernate mode before the recording is due (a bit of an assumtipn from your wording, so correct me if wrong).

If so, have you checked the obvious, i.e. that your power management settings are configured to put the PC into hibernation after 'so many' minutes of inactivity? It won't automatically go back to the pre-recording (i.e. hibernated) state just because the task is finished. It only goes back into hibernation after a pre-configured duration of inactivity.

I know that this is stating the obvious, so apologies if this is something you've already checked.

Also, do you have any panels running in the gbpvr main screen? In particular the recording status panel is reported to keep a computer from hibernating...

hey, that sounds very reasonable! I did not check that. I just assumed that gbpvr would put the computer back to hibernation after it has recorderd.

Anyways, how many minutes of inactivity have you set your hibernation condition to?[Image: rock.gif]

My system is put to standby after 30 minutes

You can find more info on the problem of the recording panel at this topic

Will Net Radio or Live TV keep it from hibernating/stand by? If it does, this sounds like a nice idea... Will a remote key press bring it back too?
