NZ TV3 sound

grrrr have been using GBPVR without problems when last night TV3's sound starts stuttering with EVR for no reason (sound is fine with VMR9). All the other channels are fine, TV3 stutters with both AC-3 and AAC.

So far I have reinstalled DirectX, ATI drivers (back to 8.12 even), TV card drivers (tried originals too), PowerDVD 8, GBPVR, AC-3 Filter... nothing works!!!

All recorded programs play back fine once recorded.

Which Log should I be looking at?

This system has been working fine for months !

OK seemed to have fixed it.

Problem seems (touch wood) to have been 'RECLOCK' program which stuffed the system then didn't uninstall properly. Lots of individual files/reg deleted finally got rid of it.
And it was meant to stop stuttering !!! Found lots of 1080p bits in reg for RECLOCK that seemed to hang around, probably why only TV3 was effected?

Which night was that? On the evening of March 3rd, all shows recorded on TV3 had problems. When played back on the server I got picture but sporadic sound, and on the client I got sound but no picture. Before and after that night is OK.

That was on the 3rd. My recording would only play back properly with powerdvd, they stuttered with gbpvr.
Seems it might have just been a TV3 problem as my recording (House) still played-up after gbpvr (or TV3) came right the next day.
I thought it was a TV card problem but I have 2 and they both played up that day.
I was just about to do a full Vista re-install...

Excellent! Thanks for mentioning that; I had a stuffed recording (no picture) on tuesday and I'd assumed it was something I'd left running which was using a lot of CPU. So I'm glad to hear the problem was at TV3's end.
