Hi I have updated my older version of gbvr. I am able to watch my old recordings but I cannot now watch tv (or record anything new.) When I go to the tv guide I click on a program and click watch - the screen goes blank and then just reverts to the tv guide again.

Can you help? thanks.

I have attached zipped logs.

windows xxp home, sp3

freecom usb dvb-t

It looks like either your recording service isnt running, or you have some filewall/antivirus software that is getting in the way of communication to the recording service.

Thanks - the windows firewall was blocking but it is now changed to allow pvrx2. However this didn't solve the problem.

I clicked on 'restart recording service' in the list of options under gbpvr in my list of programs. This meant I could then get a tv program. However when I tried to record one, my computer restarted itself. This then kept happening when I went back to pvr and clicked on a tv program to watch. Is there anything I can do?

I've attached more log files.

This type of problem typically means you've got some sort of driver problem, or other system instability (flakey device, or memory etc).

ok, cheers.

Edit: I've gone back to my previous version and that seems to be working fine so I'll stick with that.
