Hi

I posted in the hardware section but think it might be the wrong place !!

About to install 2 x Nova-DVB-S cards, a motorised dish and a dual (or quad) LNB.

Think the instructions here are straight forward enough for setting up DVB-S :-

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

My question is, I see in the screenshot on the above link a DiSEqC tab (greyed out) and would like to know if this config page in the application has settings for controlling a motorised dish. If it does, how do I actually input the different parameters for pointing the dish a certain direction for any given channel.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is anybody using a motorised dish ?

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

Hatterman,

Is this something you can do with a remote control (IR)? I control an antenna rotator with Girder (or you could use HIP) via a USB-UIRT. The only problem is you have to schedule the rotations separately inside Girder.
