I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but a quick search did not turn up anything. So I thought I would post something in the hope of making life easier for somebody.
It seems certain combinations of characters in the filename will prevent the video from playing within GB-PVR. Below is one example:
would not play: Transformers[2007].TS.Eng.DivX-LTT.avi
will play: Transformers.avi
will play; Transformers[2007]-LTT.avi
So far, I have not figured out exactly what combination of characters it is in the first filename that GB-PVR does not like.
Anyhow, if GB-PVR refuses to play a video that will play in WMP, rename it and see it that helps.
