Still picture when fast forwarding

Hi,

Using latest version and watching a recorded H.264 stream. When fast forwarding all I get is a still picture and cannot see the bar showing current postion in the recording. It does fast forward but its hard to see where your acutally fast fowarding too since you cannot see what frame its upto.

Apart from that the recording plays fine and sound is in sync.

Any pointers on where to look to fix this issue?

There probably isnt anything you can do about this. The H.264 stream only contains whole frames every few seconds, so often the stream has to be left to play for a while before it can produce the first frame to display.

Personally I use skipping, and dont typically find myself holding down the skip key. Instead, if I know I want to skip x minutes, then I type x-skip, or if I dont know how far I want to skip, I usually press and release the skip waiting for the frame to appear before pressing it again.
