big problem though... Sad PVRX2 seems to be hard-coded for MPEG-2 Demultiplexer.

(I have the Haali splitter at a high merit, and MPEG-2 Demultiplexer is at normal merit.. GraphStudio uses Haali, but PVRX2 still uses MPEG-2 Demultiplexer, so it's not following the DirectShow merits)

The only way I can force PVRX2's hand is to unregister MPEG-2 Demultiplexer, then I can play those recordings.

BUT then, I can't watch TV since it can't tune my Hauppauge card (the logs show it is looking by name for MPEG-2 Demultiplexer and can't find it, so it can't build the graph)

sub, can you have playback of files follow merit rather than always use MPEG-2 Demultiplexer?

you certainly can use it if you set <PreferredMpegPlaybackDemux>MPC - Mpeg Splitter (Gabest)</PreferredMpegPlaybackDemux>

Big Grin
only works for finished stuff tho, in-progress still uses built-in demux...

good catch.. thanks! Smile the gbpvr demux works great btw, it's just the MPEG-2 Demultiplexer for finished recordings that is buggy.
