Hi
I am buiding a new computer to use GBPVR on.
It is working successfuly on a notebook i was using, but now it is time to put in a newer computer.

how can i go about transferring everything without having to reconfigure everything?

I am using gbpvr and hipsend with a MCE remote and Hauppauge WinTv usb pvr2

Thanks in advance ...

This is how I would approach it.

Backup the gbpvr directory on the laptop.
Install the Hauppauge drivers on the new machine along with the tuner.
Install hipsend and its data files (I'n guessing here, I don't use hipsend here).
Create the same drive/directory on the new machine for your existing recordings and copy them across.
Install the same version of gbpvr on the new machine.
Copy config.xml and gbpvr.db3 from the laptop to the new machine.

Sorry, but not using HIP or MCE remote the above is incomplete, but could add to a checklist.

to copy over hip, just copy over the directory....all settings will go with it..
you'll have to recheck the auto-startup box in preferences but that's about it..
