Hi, This week I want to do a clean install of GBPVR. I.e on a freshly formatted hard drive, clean install of windows (which is currently ropey), I want to install GBPVR without upgrading a previous install. (Since I've had several versions in the past and trial & error with countless codec packs until I got good ones, this is a good opportunity to clean all that up.)

The only thing is I want to retain all my old recordings. Is there a way to do a clean install but also port over that part of the old database?

Cheers

I copied in the old config and gbpvr.db3 into the devnz\gbpvr directory before installing the fresh version.. But the method above will work for recordings. The advantage of my way is the capture sources are restored.

Cool, that was easy, thanks :-) And thanks for Sub putting that in ;-)

Thanks for the idea psycik (I think I did that once when I rolled back one version due to a problem). But I wanted to start with no capture sources. (I hadn't re-tuned since prime had gone onto digital, and the re-tune seems to have messed things up a little, so I just wanted to start again and also remove any other cruft that has accumulated.)

Cheers
