Cannot load dongle.bin.config

I am trying to boot my mvp from a linux box, then get it immediately into emulation mode and connect to gbpvr on a windows box.
(This is a tweak I am trying to speed up the process of starting the mvp - it works fine if I get the linux box to start the windows machine, then serve dongle.bin etc from gbpvr, but this all takes time)

The mvp boots up fine (see linux log below) but for the life of me I can't seem to get the config file served to the mvp. All that happens is it gets stuck at the mvpmc main menu. If I then hit emulation mode it just cycles through the startup process and goes back to the main menu.
I have the config file in /tftpboot, also in a directory /mvpmc (all world readable and writeable) but neither seems to work. Do I need to tell atftpd to look in a particular place for the config file?

Do you need tftp? GBPVR can serve the mvpmc dongle, and If you create a Windows share name mvpmc with dongle.bin.config in it, mvpmc will load it.

Alternatively if you just want to load mvpmc into emulation mode, just let GBPVR serve it.

This what I do at present - as I said in the post. I am trying to speed up the startup process by booting the mvp from the linux server while the windows media server starts up. For a couple of reasons I have to start the MVps from cold each time I switch them on

The problem with your linux box is that to load new style MVP's you need to run mvprelay which makes you MVP look like an emulation mode server. You just need to debug you atftp further. Probably the best thing to do is to try it manually via telnet until it is working. Also the file that is requested is dongle.bin.mvpmc.config if you are serving dongle.bin.mvpmc If you need further help read the mvpmc wiki or post on the mvpmc maiing list
