No audio when playing back recorded TV

Hi,

I have one problem getting in the way with fully using GB-PVR. It now successfully records TV from my noname USB satellite receiver, I get audio when I watch TV live, but as soon as I record, or use the live TV pause facility, I get no audio.

When I open the recorded files in GOM player, it plays back with sound no problem, so the audio codecs are installed.

Any ideas?

I've had this problem and so has a mate. Both with DVB-S here.

I ended up supplying him with a set of Intervideo Audio decoders and there is a patch from sub that allows their use.

Thanks. I did a search, but didn't find that thread. I have the audio working now. It's strange that it didn't work without the additional codec though, because GOM player just used the standard MPEG audio decoder.

from post 14 onwards i think... Good you have it going. Something about the connecting of the audio pins I think it is.
