How to get EPG from DVB-S by automatic wake up

Hi, me again ;-)

so far I was useing xmltv from the internet to get my epg, since the dvb-s epg is much better I would love to wake up the PC and let him get some epg date. I have read that it is posible but I can not figure out how.

If you're got a DVB-S capture source, set to the DVB EPG, it should do it automatically.

Yes, assuming you havnt unticked the 'wake machine' in the epg section of the 'Capture Sources' tab of the config app.

GB-PVR just askes Windows to wake up at that time though, and the rest of the work is done by Windows.

tnx, I allready had that but the pc keeps on runing, I will try a homebrew sateliet ini with only a fex channels and then have a look at the epg
