Maybe I'm not searching correctly but I can't find an answer to this.

Is it possible to schedule shows to play? I'm thinking of when I'm away from the house have the TV or even the monitor to fire up, start a show either recorded or live TV with sound. That would make it look and sound like someone is home. Kinda like x10 does for lighting.

Edit: Does WinTV (blasphemy, I know) start the player to do the actual recording? It might be an option too...

Thanks,

txinga

the 'reminders' feature?
hit play on a tvshow in future and it turns blue...
as long as nothing is being watched, it'll start up the show...
but i don't think it stops it...
easier to just send keystrokes from batch file and schedule it to run randomly..

send F2 to start livetv, then ### to change channel..
then alt-f4 to stop it and close app...
repeat randomly..Big Grin
