Sorry - I've got no idea.

I know it doesnt help - but this where it would have been a good have a common tuner like one of the Hauppauge ones. This way GB-PVR would have been familiar with any quirks of the device, and coded to work well with it. The reality is that I dont have this specific device, and GBPVR is only going to work well with it if it behaves exactly the same as other devices that work well. BlazeTV could easily have coded around quirks for this device if they've tested with it.

Ok Sub, thanks for letting me know.
I will uninstall drivers and GBPVR tomorrow and maybe try an older GBPVR release to see if there is any change.

I have the same issue with recording. I only get 1 minute of recorded program. I am using an Avermedia Combo card with the latest release of GBPVR.
If I reboot (and it has to be from a shutdown not just restart) the PC. All seems ot work OK for a day or two. Then the recordings revert to the '1 minute mode'.

At first I thought it might be that I had a 1 minute prepadding built in but I set that to zero and still have the problem.

I have an second PC with a Hauppauge external unit and an older version of GBPVR set to record the same programs from the same cable source (these are clear QAM signals) and they will record without any problems.

Has anyone come up with any solutions for this issue? Seems like it's peculiar to the latest GBPVR ver.

I am using that card with Vista and the latest GBPVR and it is flawless unless I have reception problems from ATSC.

I use the ATI mux from the AVIVO package to get MPGs and play them with FFDSHOW as the video and audio codecs.

Sounds like an issue with the PC.

The card is Avermedia M-792 which has been a bit of a hassle. I am finding that it seems to be only compatible with WMC. Problem is if I run it in WMC it only recognises a few of the available clear QAM channels my cable provides. I think it's got to do with how WMC handles (or doesn't) multiple services on the same carrier.

With GBPVR the trouble started with the Analog side of the card and something weird with the PIN medium in it that would not allow GBPVR to pin the encoder to the output.
The truncated recording doesn't have anything to do with that. I had the same problem running both Vista and now Win7.
Not sure what's going on, but I may have ot try my Hauppauge external box to see if it follows.
