I just upgraded my in-laws GB-PVR to 1.4.7 in the process of adding an NMT.

While I'm still working on that, I noticed I cannot lauch Config.exe anymore (I did earlier today when it was still 1.3.11). The only changes I can think of were the upgrade to v1.4.7, the installation of MVPMC, and enabling sharing of the MVPMC and GBPVR folders. The config.exe.log file is attached.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Brad

You have a corrupt config.xml file, my guess is you modified it with wordpad or another invalid xml editor in error. If you want to upload it I can have a look other you can start with a new one by copying the "don't edit me" version to config.xml.

Thanks for the tip.

I did use Wordpad on the config.xml file, I didn't realize that was a problem. I installed TextPad (what I use at home) and used it to look at the location given in the log file (although it wasn't obvious to me that it was choking on config.xml), I found the position referenced was an R in a circle (registered trademark?) next to a company name. I deleted the character and tried config.exe again, but it bombed on the same character in the next line. I did a search and replace on all of them, then config.xml lauched fine. Upon closing config.exe it put the R in the circle character back in config.xml, but likely with the correct character code for XML.

Thanks again,
-Brad
