I did some searching, but didn't know what it was called, and searching on pause didn't bring it up.

But the big info screen when you pause a recording. Is it possible to either time it out or remove it?
I cannot seem to find a setting for it.

From memory it does time out and remove this after a few seconds. Some video renderers dont allow changes to the OSD graphics unless video is playing though, so it might be the renderer you're using.

Pressing the blue button will make it go away.

I will try the blue button tonight. didn't think they did anything. (the colored buttons on the bottom).

Sub, so you are saying if I am using vmr9 as the renderer, I should pick something else and see if it goes away?
Because it doesn't I have had it paused for an hour and it is still there.

Thanks.

They can be quite useful: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manua...dReference

What were you pausing? Was it playback of a video, or was it live tv?

Sorry, I checked, and it does stay there. You'll probably have to press Ctrl-B (blue key on remote) to make it go away. I just double checked and the blue key definitely makes it go away.
