Dear all,

can anyone supply me with a working entry for the above? I found tonight that so said channel wasn't working. King of Sat provided me with new entries which I have manually edited in cache files but now getting very annoying commentary with the sound.

Problem is I can't find play with it as my wife is watching Flash Gordon on the client in the living room so only get about 2 minutes to tweak during ad breaks!!! And these don't have the commentary on.

Current entry is:

T:10832,H,22000,56~NID:0~ONID:0~TSID:2049~P:10015~V:2334~A:2383~L:eng~PMT:263~TXT:2385~PCR:2334~N:>ITV4+1

I've just looked and they are the same numbers as I'm using.
At the moment I couldn't say if the show has narrative or not - I don't hear any.

Many thanks martin123

Hmmmm interesting, more investigation needed!

[Edit] Commentary only on during Film. Another Film coming up shortly on ITV 4+1, will see if commentary just on Flash Gordon or also next film too!

cheers

What are you playing it on and what filetype being recorded? ISTR that .ts files keep both the normal and narrative channels and can be selected by the NMT and the like where as the .mpg mux only stores the first audio stream (I may of course be talking bolocks!).
Something like mediainfo on a recording should show what it contains.

Hi

These are the entries in my scan.cache for ITV4+1

T:10832,H,22000,56~NID:0~ONID:0~TSID:2049~P:10015~V:2383~A:2384~L:eng~PMT:263~TXT:2386~PCR:2383~N:>ITV4+1
T:10832,H,22000,56~NID:0~ONID:0~TSID:2049~P:10015~V:2383~A:2385~L:NAR~PMT:263~TXT:2386~PCR:2383~N:>ITV4+1 (Audio #2)

I have ITV4+1 mapped to the first one.

Hi martin123,

was being played over MVP .mpg (never got .TS to work nicely over MVP, did you?)

Thanks ReggiePerrin, checked and these were the last entries I had for IT4 +1 that did work previously but not any more, I get the Audio but no Video.

Weird thing is that I only got the commentary with 1 x film so far. Will record a couple of other films and see if commentary is consistent, tried with a rubbish Bruce Willis Film last night and no commentary. Could have been a 'one off'

Cheers

Ah - no, mpg is the way to go for MVP I guess.
I moved over to .ts for PC's and NMT as it seems to recover from signal dropouts much better than the mpg muxr - dropouts rather than stop and no more data recorded.

Glad I'm not the only 1 that never got .ts with MVP!

Guess the answer is to replace all the MVP's (using 3 currently) with NMT's to be able to use .ts?!! Expensive of course and given that the NMT I bought has gone back to PCR HQ but seems to be currently lost in transit somewhere between UK and US I could be waiting for some time Sad
