Remote please need help

Hi @all

I have a hame remote


It is detected as a HID like an keyboard/mouse

I have played with HIP but had no success
Can someone explain how is the easiest way to make this remote to work

I have this exact same remote. Most buttons work but you need to use the "i" button for "Back". See posts 28 and 29 in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post364452

When I tested, Intelliremote did not work with this remote but there have been an update or two since then. I have not had time to test them though.

Exactly what he said! Info is back button, although you can also use the mouse button to go back, also.

I use EventGhost to re-assign buttons on my similar HID keyboard/mouse remote device. If you setup GB-PVR to use the MCE remote, most of the special buttons on the remote work, but may not do what you want. If instead you set GB-PVR to use the Hauppauge remote, it will ignore most of the special buttons (ie, pretty much everything but the arrows, OK and numbers). Then you can use EventGhost to map all those buttons to the proper Ctrl-key combos for GB-PVR.

I have found that LM Remote Keymap works perfectly to reassign buttons. And I can use the default driver.
It is easy to tweak and it is really easy to set up settings per application.
The only negative part is that you don't get any templates in the free version.
