Hauppauge Remote configuration ?

I have a WinTV 1600 Hauppauge pci internal card with remote.. I have configured PVRX2 to work with my comcast digital transport box and set to channel 3. I can change the channels with the remote that came with my DTA box but my hauppauge remote can raise and lower volume and scroll through the schedule directs EPG plugin but cannot change the channels in conjunction with my DTA box. I have the IR blaster wire attached properly with no luck?

Have you configure the Hauppauge IR Blaster in the Hauppauge BlastCFG application?

I just realized that Hauppauge does not have the model box. It is a motorola digtal adapter DTA100/2305/000 so I may not be able too?
