scan the digital channel but do not get anything

I just get the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1800 (OEM version, has one input for digital and one input for analog), and install the winTV 7 that come with it without any problem,
then I follow the gbpvr initial startup guide, to config the card, get the 7days trial to use the schedules direct, base on roger cable and antenna, to requesting listing and I get 30-40 out of it, when I try to map digital channels to EPG channels, I get no channel.
any idea what might be wrong? is there any basic test to see if GBPVR can watch any OTA and basic cable or not.
Since I know WinTV can see almost 40 basic channels from Rogers and 8 digital channels

Zip and post your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log after doing a scan.

I had a similar problem recently. My cable provider switched signals. I was provided a box or should I say a transporter alleging to be digital signal. I did some research and found out the transporter was converting back to analog. Your box or digital box may be converting the signal back to analog, try the analog tutorial with the external set channel source.
