Running Windows 7, GBPVR 1.4.7.
Have 2 cards installed - an HVR 1600 and a PVR 150.

When recording, the HVR 1600 card records fine, but I get nothing from the PVR 150 card. The system says it's recording but there's nothing to play and no files saved.

I have attached the log files in the hope that someone can take a look and tell me what's wrong.

Thanks for any help.

Has your setup ever worked, or has it just stopped?
At a guess, the card or driver has stopped working.

2010-10-29 17:42:40.252 ERROR Failed to find Crossbar filter

2010-10-29 17:34:27.036 ERROR [5] Error starting recording: GBPVR.Backend.Common.GbpvrException: Failed to locate configured capture device

Any chance of trying with Hauppauge wintv or something to double check??

martint123 -

Thanks for that. Still finding my way around the logs so it's nice to have someone who knows where to look take a gander.
I checked the card using Win TV as suggested and it won't pick up the signal, although the configurations all look to be okay. That card worked (and I have since checked it again, so it still works) fine on an XP machine.
I've checked the drivers and the driver is supposedly the latest version. Not sure what else to check. Any suggestions?

UPDATE - Card also works fine on another Windows 7 system, although it installs as a HVR 1250.

You didn't mention your server spec but I think there is a memory limit of 4MB RAM with 64 bit and the PVR 150

I'm running 32-bit with 4 GB RAM (3.25 usable).
Also deleted drivers and re-installed. Tried different slots. Still no satisfaction.

I'm just in the careful process of changing my main PVR machine from XP to Win7 (32bit) and I haven't reached the step yet of installing drivers.
I can't think of an obvious reason at the moment for it to working in one machine but no another.

Well good luck with the transition. Please post the results once you're cut over. If I ever figure out what's wrong with this situation I'll do likewise.

One thing more to do possibly is to run filtercheck.exe in the gbpvr directory and then post the resultant filtercheck.log file.
Then hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me may be able to interpret the results.

wasn't there something about the PVR150 drivers having a problem with more than 2GB of RAM or something like that?

edit: nevermind, I guess the issue I was thinking of was the 4gb/64-bit issue already mentioned by Martin. I was thinking there was another issue as well, but there doesn't appear to be.
