Nikon D90 .NEF picture not sharp

I've enable the nef extension in config.xml file. GBPVR able to view the picture(without codec) but the picture quality is very bad. I've installed the Nikon codec but picture quality still very blur. How to improve the picture quality in GBPVR.

Hauppauge HVR-1300(Secondary card) (non-MCE) - used DVB-T and Analog tuner.
Hauppauge HVR-4000(Primary card) - Used satellite tuner only.
