System - Windows 7, i5 processor, 4 GB RAM
Running GB-PVR 1.4.7

Have a PVR 150 card installed and working (finally - after removing all Hauppauge components and reinstalling everything!)
Added in an HVR1600 card.
Both cards configured to capture analog satellite signals from off-board tuners, i.e. both set for Channel 3.
The PVR 150 card still works fine for Live TV and Recording, but the HVR 1600 card does not.
In Live TV it simply is not recognized. The log files (attached) indicate system couldn't find the WinTV 418 Crossbar. The drivers for this card have been updated to the latest from the Hauppauge web site.
Help please! Sad

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then post the filtercheck.log?

Sub: thanks for the reply.

I replaced the 150 card with an HVR 2250 and now both the 1600 and 2250 cards are working fine. But that also means a filter check log won't do you any good at the moment.

I am going to reinstall the 150 card on top of the 2 that are now there to see if that changes anything. I will post the result along with a filtercheck log if there's a problem.

It's also worth noting that I did not re-install the 1600 drivers, so if there really was a missing file, it should still have been missing, but the card is working fine now. Very curious.

Reinstalled the PVR150 card, so now I have a PVR150, HVR1600 and HVR2250 card in the mix.

I get no signal from the PVR150 card now, although the other 2 continue to function properly.

PVRX2 log file shows it's now the PVR150 crossbar that can't be found.

log files including filtercheck log attached.

Thanks.

Did you set your capture source device numbers correctly? ie, the PVR150 will be device number 1, the HVR1600 will be device number 1, the HVR2250 will be device number 1 and device number 2.

Oops. I thought each device needed a unique number - i.e. #1, #2, #3, etc. - so that's how I numbered them.
Setting them as suggested seems to be working for recording, but still don't get Live TV from the PVR150. But it's the recording that's important.
Anyway fingers crossed that seems to have fixed the main problem. I'll run it for a while through a few shut-down/startup cycles to be sure it holds.
Thank you. You guys on this forum have been fantastic!

Sub - just so I understand (the Wiki is confusing on this issue - at least to me) if I were to now put a second HVR 2250 in the mix, would those devices be #3 and #4 because they are the 3rd and 4th devices using the same driver set?

Or would they be set as #1 and #2 again?

Thanks.

btw - now getting live TV and recording from all 4 devices. You've been a great help!

Yes, correct - they'd be 3 and 4.
