I'm missing the option "Prompt for resume" in the setup of NPVR. I'd like to turn it off for the Videos plugin, it's not very handy for home videos.

OK, another wish from me Smile, When you choose a program from recordings, the default button is "Close". In GBPVR it's "Play"". I'd like it to be "Resume" and if no resume point is there "Play". But I've asked this before for GBPVR and not everyone agreed, so maybe it's a good idea to make this configurable by the user?

Things keep coming up, this thread is becoming my wishlist:
- a setting to not record when the signal is still encrypted (sometimes it takes a while for multidec to decode, the NMT doesn't like these files), we have this in gbpvr;
- NMT: DVD playback;
- NMT: support for long filenames, this comes in handy with the use of the mono player with subtitles.

I'm half-with you on this one, in that I agree it shouldn't be "Close" that's the first option. I actually don't mind if "Play" or "Resume" is first, but I do think both options need to be present. (Putting Play first probably makes more sense though).

If you press Play on a parent folder for a DVD ISO file it will play, assuming it's the only media file in the folder. I'm pretty sure sub could provide the same functionality for VIDEO_TS folder if NextPVR sent VIDEO_TS.IFO as the filename in this case.

I have to say this is my biggest bugbear with the nPVR interface. I'd dearly love an option to have the old style resume prompt. At the very least, resume should take highest priority (when available). The way it works at the moment makes it too easy to hit play by mistake and lose your resume point leading to one of those 'arghhhh' moments. Usually followed by me having to duck under a flying remote control lol

I don't think i've ever wanted to play a partially watched recording from the start but maybe that's just me......

I found the GBPVR way of just having a play button followed by 'resume yes/no' much more friendly. Interestingly enough it still works like this in videos screen...
