No Playback via MVP on NPVR....

Folks,

I've got a ethernet based NPVR (not wireless) connected to a NPVR server (1.5.36) and Martin's newest Dongle.bin.

When I select a recording or live TV for playback. the Screen goes blank and after about 30 seconds MVP reboots and returns to the NPVR Menu.

Here's the Live TV Log error :

Check you have <TranscodeTsForMVP>false</TranscodeTsForMVP> in config.xml.

Error no... it was set to true.... Changed it to false and it's working.....

Confused : If my recordings are in TS format.... surely the transacode should be true. Can you explain the logic... Thanks

Since mvpmc accepts ts streams and remuxes them internally, they don't need to be pre-processed. The only limitation is that ac3 audio and HD ts streams won't be transcoded to SD mpg streams but I never had success with this on LiveTV in GBPVR anyway.
