NPVR playback of recordings over MVP severely pixelated

No, I said there was a bug in NPVR at one point were it wouldn't take the name that was set in config.xml If the bug was fixed, you set the name <Dongle>dongle.npvr.bin</Dongle> in config.xml, otherwise you need to rename dongle.npvr.bin to dongle.bin. You can use both to be sure.

I checked in config.xml and found the dongle name was set to "dongle.bin". So I renamed the extracted file to that name and placed it in the users > public > npvr > dongle folder. Restarted NPVR recording service (don't know if that was absolutely necessary), re-booted the MVP, and this time, when it started, it gave clear indication that it was running the new dongle. Played a previously recorded show and it displayed perfectly.
