Hauppauge IR remote

Hi,

I've got a pvr350 and I'm having trouble getting the remote hardware installed. When I plug the cable in the card, the IR Blaster stays lit (I don't think that is normal) and when I run teh IR Blaster config program it says it does not see the hardware.

I've got 3 PVR150's set up in a server for a couple MVPs, so I don't need those IR cables, and I get the same problem if I try to use one of them in the 350. The jack does not seem snug, but it won't go in any further. The location to the side of the back plate makes it seem like the computer case could get in the way of the receptacle. I don't want to start hacking up the case unless I know for sure that is the problem.

Has anyone had similar problems? I don't know if I should bother messing with this or break down and get a USB UIRT. I'd rather not spend another $50 for something that I've already got.

What IR Blaster are you trying to use with you PVR350? The PVR350 only has a jack for an IR reciever and does not support the blaster included with the PVR150s.

Thanks for the help. I did not know they were not interchangeable. I reattached the one that came with the 350 (which I got used via Ebay) and it seems to work with one of the newer remotes that came with the 150. It seems the 350 remote itself may have been the problem.
