Microsoft Kinect Remote Control

I was just musing over the prospect of using a Kinect as a remote so I googled it, sure enough someone is already on the case:

they announced Kinect for the PC yesterday I believe. £157 to you.

It would never catch on with true couch-potatoes, seems too much like physical exercise.

Or sports fans. Imagine your favorite team down by 1 or 2... They throw a hail mary with no time left on the clock... You jump out of your seat and throw your arms in the air... The TV changes channels... You try to convince your wife that her dog was the one that knocked the TV over and it landed on the other side of the room.

Hmm, I wonder what else might cause a channel up, channel down, channel up, channel down response...
