Yes.. they are Colosus HD PVR recordings of HD channels. That is what I thought too... can decoders be changed on the fly or do you need to rebbot after each one? I assume since the output file is mpeg2 video and aac sound then those are the only 2 I need to play with? I am using Arcsoft aac decoder and have tried Cyberlink decoder as well as Arcsoft and CoreCC Parser video decoders.

The Colossus doesnt output MPEG2. It's H.264 video.

Oh yes.. I forgot about that... I also have the H.264 Decoder set to CoreAVC. I will try changing it tonight to some others to see if better. I recently removed Shark007 codec so I do not have LAV any longer.. should I re-install it?

Personally I'm using the ArcSoft video decoder for H.264. I have no idea if the CoreAVC decoder works or not.

I have got very good HD results with the Cyberlink decoders, currently using PDVD12, which you can get by downloading their trial version of PowerDVD.

Well bit the bullet and purchased Windows 7 Home. Now I play the waiting game. I still may tinker with the settings until it shows up.
