Well I have just watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony in 3D that I recorded from BBC HD Freeview on Friday night and I must say that I was impressed
I had thought that 3D was a bit of a gimmick - and I don't think I would want to wear 3D specs all the time, being a glasses wearer. The Ceremony was definitely spectacular - pity the Athletes spoilt it by walking slowly
I had forgotten to put an hours extra post padding on and missed the lighting of the cauldron and firework display at the end :mad:
On a technical note , on screen display and menus are hard to navigate in 3D mode - how long before NPVR goes 3D, maybe a request for NNPVR (Next Next PVR)

It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives
