Everything works but Live TV

I am using an Hauppauge WinTV-PVR USB2 and I loaded and installed everything by following the quick start to the letter. And everything works great, except that when I try to start Live TV I get the following error:

Error: Unable to load DLL (hcwIRblast.dll)

I also have a couple of other programs loaded on my system because I am trying to decide which one I prefer, but I make sure everything is closed on one before opening another.

I have tried Restarting IR or leaving it off.

Is my problem in my configuration?

By the way, when GBPVR is open, the remote does work in terms of navigating the menus and such.

It is only when I select Live TV that I get the error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is because you've configured it to use the Hauppauge IR Blaster (see the channel changer setting in the capture source settings), which is not part of the PVR USB2.

You were correct.

And I got it to work just fine with no remote.

Does one of those settings allow me to use the remote that came with the WinTV-PVR USB2?

This setting is not used for a remote, but for controlling an external set top box (usually via an IR Blaster).

If you click the 'Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings' button, then restart ir.exe, your remote should start functioning.
