I set full read and write permissions for the guest account and I can now telnet to the PCH. The bad news is it didn't seem to change anything; I still get a black screen whenever NPVR loads. :confused:
I am grasping at straws but I thought some of the files inside the share seemed odd/large (see below), does that file listing look normal for the share? Also, FWIW, when the black screen appears I do NOT get the "NO Signal" message from my TV which suggests the TV is getting a video signal output (but blank or black)?
