No. It worked fine for a couple of days but then the promlem reappeared.
I noticed that sometimes when using live TV or Preview the audio sounds
like its using an "Underwater sound effect". Also the video is half way - the botom
of the video shows on top of the screen.
To resolve this issue I start WINDVR, select a random channel and close the application again.
If I now reopen TV in GBPVR sound and video a normal again.
Did anybody experience this too?
Sound and video in WINDVR are fine.
Could any of the problems be related by applications running in the background? (IIS, Antivirus,...)

Thats weird, my picture is perfect. In config try specifying the InterVideo Video and Audio Decoder under playback and switching it to Overlay... this seems to work the best for me.

Are your sceduled records working correctly still though? Mine almost always cut out after a few minutes or work correctly for most of the record and then cut out 10 minutes before the end. GBPVR seems to be stopping things at the right time, but for some reason the physical recording seems to stop before that... And sometimes the record light and green system tray icon stay green after recoding is over. Have you been having any of this?

I still have almost the same issues as you.
The physical recording stops at the correct time but the
recording service still shows active (Green Tray Icon).
Also the red recording led on my TV402U is still on.
The GBPVRRecording service can not be stopped in this state.
Only a reboot helps.
I understand that I only need to have WINDVD Creator in order to run GBPVR.
I will try to remove Intervideo WINDVR and see if that will make a difference.

I have almost exactly the same problem as you. If I start GBPVR without using WINDVR first, the bottom third of the video is displayed on top of the two uppermost thirds and there is some garbled signal between. In addition, the sound has that "underwater effect". If I open WINDVR (which works correctly) first, close it and start GBPVR only then, the sound works fine and the picture is in the correct position, but it only shows random frames in a slideshow-like fashion. CPU usage stays below 40% all the time.

This problem occurs with both of the computers I have tried to use GBPVR in. The first one is a Compaq laptop with AMD Athlon XP-M 1500+ CPU, 384 MB RAM, PCMCIA USB2 adapter, SoundMAX integrated audio, ATI Radeon IGP320M display adapter and WinXP Pro SP2. The second one is a custom-built desktop with AMD Athlon XP 2700+ CPU, Epox 8K5A2+ motherboard, 512 MB RAM, built-in USB2 adapter, ATI Radeon 9000 Pro display adapter, SB Live! audio card and WinXP Pro SP2.

Is there anyone who has managed to get GBPVR work correctly with Plextor PX-TV402U (European version)? If yes, I'd be much obliged to know how it should be configured then.

I also have another question, regarding the remote control supplied with the European version of PX-TV402U. It has a separate USB infrared receiver with the label RC-202A located in the bottom and the remote itself has 35 buttons and a joypad (which moves mouse cursor). This remote seems to work correctly with WinXP SP2 if used with WinDVR. Is there a way to use this remote with GBPVR?
