Correct! Hard to believe I've used NextPVR for more than a year without ever trying to resize the window, but I typically go full-screen when actually watching TV. My UI resolution is set to Auto.

On a closely-related point: As has been discussed before, it would be nice if you could exit Fullscreen Mode without memorizing keyboard commands or closing the application.

Alt-Enter to toggle window/full screen is a standard Windows key command, been used for about 25 years now. Admittedly it's used less often now, since most apps don't have a true full-screen mode and many old DOS apps can no longer be run full screen (plus many would look a bit silly stretched over a 20+ inch widescreen).
What are you looking for? An optional menu entry? A function key like F11 (also used for full-screen aka kiosk mode by some apps, like Internet Explorer)?

This isn't related to the original posters question though.

I am curious what is that you are fixing?

I'm fixing the bug Johnsonx42 described, where the application could start with the incorrect shape, but as soon as you attempted resize it, it'd jump to the correct shape, then stay the correct shape (until restarted).

so the fix will have do nothing for users like me that have 16:10 monitor where the 16:10 window will remain after resizing? Thanks.

No, it won't change what you're describing - that's already behaving the way it is supposed to. You'll also see the same small black bars when the app is run fullscreen. It does this to maintain the correct aspect ratio when showing 16:9 video on a 16:10 monitor. If you're not worried about maintaining the correct aspect ratio, and would just prefer it to fill the screen, then you can use the 'Fill' aspect ratio mode.

I understand the black bars in full screen mode but not when it is in the windowed mode. But you are the developer and you get to decide when something is a bug or a feature. Thanks.
