My NdigitalHost keep growing, once I caught them using 500MB, now after 1 day since reboot I have 2 using 250-300MB each. Is this normal ?

Not normal (compared to my system). When did you last restart the recording service?

Mine are showing 57MB and 17MB, although curiously the memory usage is fluctuating constantly by a few 100KB even though they are idle.

Scheduled a DVB-T2 HD recording, it rises to 275MB
cancel recording, drops back to 64MB (not 57MB).
Scheduled a DVB-T2 HD recording, it rises to 275MB
cancel recording, drops back to 69MB (not 64MB).
[edit] again this morning, up to 282 and back down to 74.6MB, which is again 5MB higher than it was at idle last night.
[edit] corrected GB to MB for these pedantic readers!

Either there is some .NET garbage collection not running or NdigitalHost is not freeing up all of its resources after completing a recording, thereby leaking 5MB after every recording.

I currently have 2 of them, one using 381MB the other 320MB, this is after maybe 3-4 days since startup.

Stop service, both gone, restart still gone.
Tune a channel 1 pops up using 64MB
Stop channel and start another it grows to 68MB
Stop channel and it's down to 41MB

I get one pr tuner, both on a fresh startet npvr service use around 60-70MB tuning channel, and 40MB idle

EPG scanning does not seem to affect, stays at 41MB, been recording for a couple of hours now and it's grown to 90MB

MDPlugins related ?

Yeah, maybe. I guess the only way to know for sure is try removing them temporarily to see if you still have the problem on free to air channels.
